About Crystal Clear Farm
We place extreme value on the quality of experience for our horse family. We provide a comfortable learning experience with a reputation for placing safety and security as the number one priority for our riders. CCF horse riding instructors have taught riding lessons and have trained horses collectively for over 50 years.

Renee Ronshausen, CCF Owner, Horse Trainer
Renee has been training horses and teaching horse riding lessons to children, juniors, and adult amateur riders for 40 years. Her students range from the beginning pleasure rider to the advanced competitor. Her private horse ranch in West Petaluma has a warm, safe and secure family feel where her students can concentrate on developing their horsemanship and life skills.
Renee will take the student as deep into the horse/rider relationship as they want to go. She lives and breathes her role as a teacher and encourages her students to work hard to achieve their goals. She is involved with the horses lives 24-7 365 days of the year and is committed 100% to every horse and rider that comes into her care.
Renee’s students and school horses have qualified for and won many major events including Year-end Norcal, PCHA Championships, Hunter, and Medal Finals. She is a certified Equinology™ Body Worker with considerable background in ALL THINGS EQUINE. She has traveled the world in search of horses for buyers and has a natural talent to find the perfect horse for the rider. She has many years of experience training young horses and teaching riders to ride correctly, which translates to success in the show ring.

Noni Smith, Horse Trainer
Noni has been teaching horseback riding and training horses professionally for over 25 years. She grew up in Sonoma County where she gained most of her riding and training experience. She moved to Siskiyou County in 2013 and started teaching lessons and training horses in Weed. Noni has worked for prominent trainers in dressage, hunters, jumpers, eventing and western disciplines. She has decades of experience riding and training young and difficult horses as well as upper level horses in several disciplines.
Noni also has a great deal of experience teaching all ages, starting as young as 4 years old. She founded and served as program director for Shasta Riding Club, a nonprofit horseback riding program in Weed, from 2014-2017. Through Shasta Riding Club, Noni taught over 100 children and adults in riding lessons. She also ran successful day camps and summer camps, providing affordable opportunities for all children to enjoy horses and learn to ride.
Noni incorporates trail riding, cross training and arena work into her training programs and lessons, as well as general horsemanship. She prioritizes safety and focuses on building confidence in her students, both human and equine, while having fun at the same time!
